Part Time WFC is seeking energetic Site Assistants to join our fun and interactive Before & After School Program. We are located in three elementary schools in Meriden: Nathan Hale, Casimir Pulaski, and Hanover. Providing homework help, assisting Head Teacher’s with engaging children in enrichment activities, distributing snacks, and ensuring children’s safety at all times are some of the responsibilities of the position.
Interested candidate should enjoy working with young children – grades K-5.
Work schedule – 25 hours per week
- Monday through Friday: 6:45am – 8:45am
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 3pm – 6pm
- Thursday: 2:30pm – 6pm
- Friday: 3pm – 5:30pm
Position is eligible for paid time off.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with school aged children.
- Positive outlook required.
- Bilingual a plus.
