Job Overview
The Program Manager works closely with the Program Director to oversee and coordinate homeless youth services, including a 24-hour transitional housing program, street outreach, and supportive housing. Together ensuring programs operate effectively, align with best practices, and meet agency and funder expectations. The Program Coordinator in partnership with the Director will oversee staff supervision, program operations and data management to achieve successful outcomes for youth participants.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $55,000.00 plus a generous benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Work in close partnership with the Program Director to develop, implement, and monitor program goals, procedures, and performance standards.
- Oversee daily operations of the transitional housing, street outreach, and supportive housing programs.
- Ensure services promote housing stability, education, employment, and well-being for youth participants.
- Supervise, train, and support program staff, including case managers, outreach workers, and residential staff.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and direction while collaborating with the Program Director on staff performance, development, and training initiatives.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and trauma-informed team culture.
- Ensure individualized service planning for each youth, emphasizing education, employment, life skills, and permanent housing.
- Oversee crisis intervention protocols and ensure 24-hour coverage and safety standards.
- Collaborate with local agencies, housing providers, and service systems to support youth transitions to stable housing.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and data management in accordance with funder and agency standards.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in human service or related field required.
- Two years of professional experience in human service field.
- At least one year experience working with youth and young adults.
- At least one year supervisory experience
- Experience in a residential setting
- Experience with HMIS.
- Case management experience and experience working within a diverse team preferred.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations.
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual a plus.
